I've been working with Elizabeth Wieneke for over 16 months. I want to share what a pleasure it's been to work with Elizabeth and what a true 'long-term relationship' and service-minded individual she is. It's absolutely refreshing and rare to experience that today. If you could have a brand mascot, it'd be Elizabeth as every big and small touchpoint with her makes Griffith Grant & Lackie look like a star.
The real estate work we did with Elizabeth was mangly and a very much winding road. The simplest version of the story is that we planned to sell and move within Lake Forest, then we dropped our listing with possible plans to remodel, then my husband took a job out-of-state and so our plans were even murkier...we ended up keeping the house and renting it via Elizabeth.
So Elizabeth's had to do a lot of work for what is at this point minimal return. As part of our out-of-state move, I've worked with many realtors, lenders, and the like in the last year and I've worked with many others in the past. Elizabeth is the only one I've been inspired to write a letter about. She is an oustanding listener (and always offers a hug and a box of tissues when times get tough!) and she drives to deliver on the needs of customers. I've seen so many realtors and lenders that do great smiles and sales up front, but when the going gets tough, they get grumpy, curt, non-responsive, frustrated...and more than once I've seen them fall into the desperate "just sign the paper and give me my commission!" mode. Elizabeth, in contrast, always remains focused on the current considerations and challenges. She will make anything happen whether it's an extra open house, or an evening errand, and so many more big and little things that she never expects anyone to remember, count, measure, or reward.
I'll also add that in the current challenges real estate market, in most cases people will target their frustrations toward their realtor merely because there's no one else around to blame for the tough market. I felt the pain of the tough market, but I am certain Elizabeth made my experience in this tough market better. And though she works with houses many times the value of ours, I don't think I ever phoned her day or night and didn't hear "Hi Mary!" on the other line within seconds.
Elizabeth's absolutely been nothing but a trusted advisor and her selfless service-minded mode will win us back forever. I speak of her and GG&L when I talk with or visit with friends from Lake Forest and we absolutely will engage her when we go to sell our Lake Forest house.
I just wanted to share this briefly as amidst all the work it is great to take a breath and recognize the 'good stuff.'
I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone working at AbbVie.
I have lived in many countries and worked with many real estate agents, but have never came across such a level of professionalism.
Elizabeth is a fine real estate agent who knows and understands very well the intricacies of the North Shore real estate market. She constantly screened the market and was be able to help us visiting houses before they were be publicly listed.
Working with her has been phenomenal. She was always available to help us 7 days a week and 24 hours a day! She always offered an honest and professional opinion and was always extremely pleasant to work with.
Elizabeth has outstanding connections with all key stake holders, including other real estate agents, law firms, banks, contractors, etc, which greatly facilitate our work. She understood very well our needs and was able to represent us and defend our interests during all negotiations. I have always been extremely impressed by her great professionalism. She was always on top of all transactions and negotiations with all key stake holders. Impressively, all follow-ups were made within the following minutes. She truly offers top executive services, it really can get any better than this.
