Testimonial:

I've been working with Elizabeth Wieneke for over 16 months. I want to share what a pleasure it's been to work with Elizabeth and what a true 'long-term relationship' and service-minded individual she is. It's absolutely refreshing and rare to experience that today. If you could have a brand mascot, it'd be Elizabeth as every big and small touchpoint with her makes Griffith Grant & Lackie look like a star.

The real estate work we did with Elizabeth was mangly and a very much winding road. The simplest version of the story is that we planned to sell and move within Lake Forest, then we dropped our listing with possible plans to remodel, then my husband took a job out-of-state and so our plans were even murkier...we ended up keeping the house and renting it via Elizabeth.

So Elizabeth's had to do a lot of work for what is at this point minimal return. As part of our out-of-state move, I've worked with many realtors, lenders, and the like in the last year and I've worked with many others in the past. Elizabeth is the only one I've been inspired to write a letter about. She is an oustanding listener (and always offers a hug and a box of tissues when times get tough!) and she drives to deliver on the needs of customers. I've seen so many realtors and lenders that do great smiles and sales up front, but when the going gets tough, they get grumpy, curt, non-responsive, frustrated...and more than once I've seen them fall into the desperate "just sign the paper and give me my commission!" mode. Elizabeth, in contrast, always remains focused on the current considerations and challenges. She will make anything happen whether it's an extra open house, or an evening errand, and so many more big and little things that she never expects anyone to remember, count, measure, or reward.

I'll also add that in the current challenges real estate market, in most cases people will target their frustrations toward their realtor merely because there's no one else around to blame for the tough market. I felt the pain of the tough market, but I am certain Elizabeth made my experience in this tough market better. And though she works with houses many times the value of ours, I don't think I ever phoned her day or night and didn't hear "Hi Mary!" on the other line within seconds.

Elizabeth's absolutely been nothing but a trusted advisor and her selfless service-minded mode will win us back forever. I speak of her and GG&L when I talk with or visit with friends from Lake Forest and we absolutely will engage her when we go to sell our Lake Forest house.

I just wanted to share this briefly as amidst all the work it is great to take a breath and recognize the 'good stuff.'
